The Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, located at the north end of the coast of the Arabian Gulf, is one of the seven Emirates that form the United Arab Emirates.
Ras Al Khaimah is nestled between the Hajjar Mountains on the East and the Arabian Gulf on the West and shares mountainous borders with the Sultanate of Oman.
Ras Al Khaimah is rapidly reinventing itself as the Middle East's best tourism hub. The city of Ras Al Khaimah, the capital of the Emirate, is divided into two parts by a creek. The western part, known as "old Ras Al Khaimah", comprises government departments, educational institutions, shopping malls, hotels as well as residential areas and new construction projects. The eastern part, known as Al Nakheel, houses the Emiri Court, some government departments, markets, Ras Al Khaimah Exhibition Center, hospitals and residential areas housing the majority of the city's population. The two parts of the city are linked by a bridge and a network of modern roads.

The environment friendly camp is committed to the use of renewable resources such as solar energy, comprehensive recycling of organic waste, nature friendly waste disposal, the use of local environment friendly transportation such as donkeys and promotes environmental education.
- Musandam Pearl Route : Discover the abandoned villages that travellers crossed on this rough and rocky trail. Roam around the barren fields that once carried entire communities, climb peaks above which sharp-eyed buzzards still glide, quietly stalking their prey below. Lunch will be served at the Mountain Extreme camp.
- Walk in the Clouds : Discover the tallest peak in the Musandam. The hike is programmed to arrive a day before at Mountain Extreme camp to build up energy reserves. The hikers will head off to the summit of Jebel Qihwi the next day, after breakfast.
- Lost Villages : Trek to the vastness of the Wadi Bih, away from other hikers and habitations. Climb a summit, explore the canyon, camp on the edge of the precipice and scramble down a route that will never see crowds.

- Desert Safari : Have a safari trip in a 4-wheel drive vehicle and enjoy the wonders of the sand. The trip starts with an exciting Dune Drive with several photo stops for the amazing views while on your way to the Camel Farm. The drive continues across the desert to catch the wonders and colours of the setting sun, directly to the camp site.
- Mountain Trip by 4x4 : Pass through the golden desert and different Wadis to reach the other side of the mountains. Several old villages will be covered en route where village folks, tucked away from modern life, live in isolation. Gaze in wonder at the sunset on top of the mountains, watching its colours scatter in the sky. Trek around on the mountain top, where silence and the wind is your only companion.
- Ras Al Khaimah City tour : Visit the city of Ras Al Khaimah. The tour would take you to the RAK Museum, souk & flea market).
- Dhow Cruise in Musandam (Oman) : Take a boat ride around the scenic coastal villages where inhabitants live by fishing and goat herding. Swim and snorkel in relaxing beach spots where dolphins are known to go swimming in their natural habitat.
- Khatt Springs : The Khatt village is very famous for its thermal water. Swim in these blessed waters.

- Al Dheeb Farm & Aoafi Desert Drive : A desert drive through the Awafi is a thrilling experience, especially when smashing the sand dunes with a sun set in the back drop. Also visit the Al Dheeb Farm, a typical farm house which was used during summer in the past.
- Ostrich Farm : A drive along the road leading to the Ras Al Khaimah Airport brings you to the Ostrich Farm. The huge birds are bred and taken care of by experts. Getting a chance to view the birds at close quarters will be a rare experience for the tourists.
- Khatt Springs : Located in the west of RAK mountain ranges; the Khatt Springs was opened for visitors in 1982. The magnificent landscape surrounding the springs soothes your mind and body. The natural springs of hot water flows forth at a depth of 350 meters at a temperature of 40 degree centigrade. It has curative properties which a lot of ailing visitors from home and abroad have made use of.
- Traditional Arab House : A local Arab house is built mainly with date palms and has an excellent, intricate finish which reflects less of technology and more of skill and expertise. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness these family houses, complete with all amenities and a courtyard.
- Camel Farm - Race Track : The Camel has an important place in the United Arab Emirates and Camel Racing is a part of the country's rich legacy passed on from generation to generation. An excellent 10km race track has been built in Ras Al Khaimah for this purpose. Also visit the camel farms where the animals are bred and taken care by the local Bedouin tribes.
- The Old Souk : Ras Al Khaimah's Old Souk and bazaars have a distinctive feel of the past. They have played a very important role in the country's trade and commerce. A variety of traditional shopping, ranging from spices and curios to carpets, can be done from here.
- Waha Centre : Apart from its traditional souks and outlets, RAK also has its share of ultra modern malls and outlets. This is the first modern shopping center in RAK to provide a unique shopping experience of having all items under one roof. It also offers bargain hunters unbeatable value for money.
- National Museum : This was originally a historic fortress of the 18th century known as Al Husen and was the residence of the ruling families. It exhibits a variety of rare relics and fossils of different historical era.
- Traditional Fish Market : The RAK fish market is the oldest and one of the most traditional fish markets. The catch is mainly meant for local sale and consumption. A variety of fish is sold here along with other sea food categories.
- Al Fallayah : The 18th century structures were built as summer resorts for the Al Qasimi family and are surrounded by palm tree farms. The peace treaty between Sheikh Al Qawasim and the British/Omani troops was signed here in 1819.
- Dates Farm : Date farming is considered to be one of the oldest agricultural activities in this region. The high quality and rich variety of RAK's dates has a special recognition in local and export trade. A glimpse of the farming activity and arrangement of the tree plantation and hanging of dates are a rare sight to be seen and experienced.
- Arabian Horses Stable : The Arabian Horse breed is considered to be the finest bred horses in the world. Take a look at the stables and nursing of these quality bred horses which are worth a fortune.
