If traveling to the Middle East or Africa in on your schedule, you will appreciate this news. Beginning 25 May, 2009, Hainan Airlines will begin charter service from Beijing to Dubai and Luanda. These convenient new routes will provide business communications and leisure travel for passengers traveling from China to the Middle East, and China to Africa.

Passengers have a choice of two flights weekly from Beijing to Dubai and onward to Luanda, on a Boeing 767 airplane with its double-aisles, wide-body, which include 34 business class seats and 198 economy class seats. All seats are equipped with an interactive personal video and entertainment system. Passengers can enjoy a wide selection of movies, music, and games. Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, yesterday launched its inaugural daily service to Dubai from Chennai with a full complement of passengers, as well as a second service on the Mumbai-Dubai sector.

The launch of the airline’s first Chennai-Dubai service was marked by a small lamp-lighting ceremony in the presence of company officials at the Chennai International Airport.

With the launch of these new daily services, Jet Airways now operates four daily flights to Dubai from three major Indian metros, aboard state-of-the-art Boeing 737-800 aircraft. In addition to the new services, the airline also flies daily to Dubai from Mumbai and Delhi respectively. (more…)
